Juvent Magoggo
He is the company's co-founder, software architect, chief consultant and Managing Director. He holds a Masters Degree in Information Systems in Agriculture from Wageningen Agricultural University in The Netherlands (now Wageningen University and Research). He rose to principal researcher in the Ministry of Agriculture during the first twenty years of his career. During this time, he executed land suitability studies for district development projects, commercial farmers and irrigation schemes in many parts of Tanzania. He made pivotal contributions to the application of technology in soils research in Tanzania, East Africa and the SADCC region, while at the same time developing and implementing the internationally-acclaimed Soil Information System for Tanzania (SISTAN).
He has 11 years experience of providing advisory services to business developers in large-scale farming, agri-waste utilization, renewable energy and information technology. He has worked intensively and extensively with agri-processors and out-grower business models. He has done wide-ranging work providing technical expertise for project developÂment in the energy sub-sector, some of it supported by international organizations such as the Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN) for which he provides coaching services to bring renewable energy and climate adaptation multi-million-dollar projects to bankability.
He is a member of Tanga District Business Council, co-chairperson of the Council’s Executive Committee and current Chairman of SIDO Tanga Regional Small and Medium Enterprise Advisory Committee.
Oscar Kiwango
He has been with the company since its inception. With an Advanced Diploma in Certified Accountancy, Mr. Kiwango started his career in the Tanzania Audit Corporation, where he rose to leading teams of accountants on audit assignments to state-owned corporations. After 8 years of service in the government, he joined the private sector where he spent some 12 years working with a vertically integrated agriculture to manufacturing company as Accountant. He has over a decade of experience with outgrower scheme management. He now runs a farming enterprise.
